The Amalfi Battery, rapidly built between 1915 and 1917, housed a revolving armoured tower and various rooms for accommodation and ammunition. Used in World War II by the Germans, it is now being transformed into a museum and event venue.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Lido di Jesolo with the 23/A line, get off at Ca’ Savio Chiesa and from here on foot turn first into Via Isonzo and then into Via Retrone.
