Walk from the centre to Campo

This picturesque walk from Cortina to Campo, with its small and significant church, offers a breathtaking view of the town and the majestic surrounding mountains. Mandress and Fraina larch hikes

Starting from the middle station of the Faloria cable car in Mandres, path no. 220 winds its way through the forest, offering a pleasant walk of about 45 minutes to the Meneguto Farm, a cosy farmhouse at the foot of the slopes of Mount Faloria. We are in the Fraina area, one of the first settlements in the Ampezzo Valley, rich in ancient stories and myths. Faloria, the mountain from which, according to myth, the door of the god Silvanus opened, was attributed a strong sacred value. To return, take trail no. 214 to the junction with no. 210 and from there take trail no. 220 back to the starting point
