After the First World War, during the reconstruction phase, the First Regional Congress for the Reclamation of the Veneto Region was held in San Donà di Piave on 23-25 March 1922, promoted by the National Federation of Reclamation Consortia.

The Land Reclamation Festival, now in its 5th edition in 2022, offers interesting cultural encounters, engaging performances, splendid art exhibitions and exciting tours of the area.
