Pisani Battery Museum

The Pisani Battery, restored and enriched with exhibition spaces, presents themed exhibitions on the Great War and the Cavallino-Treporti area. Built between 1909 and 1912 and named in honour of commander Vettor Pisani, it was equipped with 280 mm howitzers, but could not be deployed on the Lower Piave River land front. During the Second World War it was used as an anti-aircraft emplacement and later occupied by civilians.
