Radaelli Battery

The Radaelli Battery, located inside the Villaggio San Paolo accommodation facility, hosts the exhibition ‘The Great War: defence systems from Venice along the Piave’, highlighting the defence methods of the First World War in the lagoon. Built between 1909 and 1914 in honour of Carlo Radaelli, the battery was not used against enemy ships but contributed to the battle of 1918. The exhibition is accessible during opening hours.
