Last year in May, Caorle hosted the first edition of ‘Gusta La 500’ in conjunction with the renowned ‘La Cinquecento’ regatta of the Circolo Nautico Porto Santa Margherita. The marina comes alive with tastings, visits to the boats and meetings with the crews. The various events include food and wine stands on Friday evening, briefings and prize-giving on Saturday, followed by a spectacular cooking show and concert. The Cinquecento officially starts from Caorle, a fascinating 500-mile route. This sailing challenge, part of the World Sailing calendar, offers an extraordinary seafaring experience along the Italian coastline.
