House of Titian Vecellio in Pieve di Cadore

Titian Vecellio’s residence in Pieve, rebuilt in 1928-30, shows the original 15th-century structure. It houses reproductions of Titian’s drawings and documents about the artist, offering a glimpse into the life of Titian and his family. A national monument since 1922, it has been open to the public since 1932, preserved by the Magnifica Comunità di Cadore.

Spectacle Museum

You cannot go to Cadore and not visit the Pieve di Cadore Glasses Museum, unique in the world for the importance and richness of its collection. Two floors of exhibition illustrating the history and evolution of eyewear in general and the development of the Belluno eyewear sector specifically, with period photos and films.

Lake Mosigo – San Vito di Cadore

Lake Mosigo, also known as Lake San Vito, is a reservoir built in 1929 and has become an active centre for nature lovers. It offers various outdoor activities, such as mini golf and Nordic walking, nestled in the beautiful Belluno Dolomites in San Vito di Cadore.

Vajont Museum

The Museum ‘Longarone Vajont – Attimi di Storia’ recounts the tragic night of 9 October 1963, which deeply marked the entire territory with the loss of 1,910 lives. It is a constant endeavour to keep the memory of those victims alive and to admire the courage of the survivors, who in despair kept hope for a future alive despite everything.

Cibiana di Cadore

In Cibiana di Cadore, a village of only 450 inhabitants at an altitude of 985 metres along the road to the Cibiana Pass, one experiences an authentic atmosphere far from the most crowded tourism. With old houses, some dating back to the 16th-18th centuries, the village holds treasures in its cobblestone streets, keeping alive the passion for mountain life. His murals are particularly well known. They were executed by renowned artists not only from Italy, but also from Japan and the former USSR.

Since 1980, an open-air museum has been formed, boasting no less than 50 frescoes in a unique itinerary.
