Venice in brief

A walk through the calli of Venice is a journey through time and beauty. Depending on the time available, there are some essential steps to consider. The Doge’s Palace, with its Gothic majesty, reveals the power and history of Venice, with its ornate halls and impressive dungeons. St Mark’s Basilica, located in St Mark’s Square, enchants with its golden mosaics and precious relics. The square itself is a perfect place to meet and observe, with its historic cafés and vibrant atmosphere.

One cannot visit Venice without crossing the Rialto Bridge, a world-famous architectural icon offering breathtaking views of the Grand Canal. Furthermore, for those who wish to explore the artistic side of the city, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco houses extraordinary works by Tintoretto, allowing for an immersion in Renaissance painting.

In the midst of these main attractions, the city’s narrow and charming calle (lanes) invite you to get lost, revealing hidden nooks and crannies, craft shops and a perfect setting for unforgettable photo shoots. At every turn, Venice is a city steeped in art, history and romance, and every visit is an experience to remember forever.
